To increase the number of vehicles in your stations, you have to navigate to the station you wish to add new vehicles to. In that menu exists a button labeled "Expand", click it. Every station starts at level 0, with only the space for the starting vehicle. With each level you expand to the maximum number of vehicles you can store in it increases by one. After that you can buy a new vehicle or move a vehicle from another station to the one you just expanded.
