In MissionChief, there are three types of missions that can develop from other missions: follow-up missions, expansion missions, and subsequent missions.

Follow-up missions

• Occur while you are still dealing with the original mission
• The original mission continues, and you have to handle both
• They don’t have to occur at the exact location of the original mission but can also take place nearby
• Can be deactivated in the mission tab of the settings

Subsequent missions

• Occur after the original mission is finished
• They take place at the same location as the original mission

Expansion missions

• Occur while you are still dealing with the original mission
• The original mission is replaced by the expanded mission
• The expansion mission is larger and more complex than the original mission
• They occur at the same location as the original mission
• Can be deactivated in the mission tab of the settings
