There are basically 2 main goals of the game: 

 

1. Singleplayer Map: Explore your own county by conquering new areas and unlocking new buildings, actions, etc.

 

2. Mulitplayer Map: Take control of a kingdom with your alliance by conquering the 5 kingdom towers. For that you will need to recruit an army, upgrade your county and battle other lords to get control of the towers. All that cannot be done alone, you will need an alliance to help you. But no worries: You can also play passively and be just part of a conquered kingdom, pay your taxes and enjoy your live in Medieval Kingdoms.
