The maps have changed the most in comparison to the “old” Lords & Knights. Regions are displayed through fortified walls on the map. Furthermore, there is a completely new type of map that shows you an overview of all regions.
Normal Map
The normal map is an overview that shows you castles, fortresses and cities in detail. If you click on a habitat, information about the owner is displayed. Here you can also see the Region Habitat on worlds with the regions feature.
Apart from the walls and the Region Habitat, this map is the same as the normal map on worlds without regions.
Political Map
The political map is an overview that shows you whether habitats are free or captured. Free habitats always have grey symbols. Castles are displayed with squares, fortresses with circles and cities with triangles. Additionally, the range of the currently active habitat is shown.
Apart from the displayed region borders, this map is the same as the political map on worlds without regions.
Region Map
Different regions and their Region Habitats are displayed on the Region Map. If the region is not captured by any alliance, it is displayed in grey. Captured regions are displayed in the color of their respective owner (depending on diplomatic status). The map is updated after every Region Update. If you click on a region, you get into the Region Overview.
This map does not exist on worlds without regions.
